Most musicians who start their careers in music have faced challenges at some point. The majority of those who have overcome these setbacks and established themselves in the music business agree that the groundwork was exceedingly difficult.
Veteran rapper and Highlife singer Reggie Rockstone offers an alternative account of his early years in the music business.

The Grandpa of Hiplife disclosed that his music career started out easy and without any difficulties in an interview with Abeiku Santana on the Atuu Show.
He said that because his father worked in the music industry, he was lucky to have never had to ask for assistance in becoming well-known in the industry.
It seemed like a walk in the park to me. I was blessed, as I have said many times. An executive producer was my father. I have never needed to ask for help or something like that. Everything was presented to me quite nicely. If I told you that there were no difficulties I had when I first started making music, I would be lying. I am very laid back because of this, as many people have said. That is my gift,” he declared.

Since beginning his career as a music producer in 1990, Reggie Rockstone has released numerous hit songs and collaborated with artists such as Sena Dagadu, VVIP, KK Fosu, and others.
In addition to his musical career, the Highlife singer has opened a restaurant named “Rockz Waakye,” which he and his wife overseas.
