One of Ghana’s premier Highlife artists, Daniel Amakye Dede has revealed the fact that he sees nothing wrong with the legalization and the usage of weed. The iconic musician was in a chat with presenter, Nana Aba Anamoah on Starr Chat on GH One TV.
‘Smoking weed doesn’t make you a bad person’ the Iron Boy singer stated. He went on to confirm the fact that he has tried using the drug before, although he didn’t like it.
Nana Amakye added that smoking the drug can give artistes some sort of extra energy for their performance and to entertain their audiences. He cited some advanced countries such as America and Germany, who are making some revenues from the product.
For a fact, the manufacturing, cultivation, possession and the usage of marijuana is no more illegal in Ghana, provided there is a lawful excuse or licensed by the right government body.
