I deserve to win GMA ‘Unsung Artiste of the Year’- Mophty

Mophty, a fast-rising artist from Ghana, is making waves in the music industry and is a strong contender for the coveted “Unsung Artiste of the Year” award at the upcoming Ghana Music Awards (GMA).

In an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast-based Property FM, the “Case” hitmaker expressed confidence in his musical journey and the impact of his work over the past year.

He also mentioned the significant turning points in his career that came from working with artists on songs like Mr. Drew’s “Case Remix” and Flowking Stone’s “Tomorrow.” These collaborations have demonstrated his ability and helped him become more well-known in the Ghanaian music scene.

Additionally, Mophty disclosed that he has been in prayer for Mr. Drew’s “Case remix,” which they collaborated on and which won “Collaboration of the Year” at the Ghana Music Awards (GMA).

During the interview, Mophty declared, “I am passionate about winning the 2024 GMA Unsung Artiste of the Year. Looking at my work this year, I think I deserve Unsung.”

I will be happy to win, but let us leave it to God. Others are also aiming for it, so let us leave it to God. All I am hoping for is that we will win collaboration of the year with Case remix at this year’s GMA, and I pray that it happens,” he said.

The singer made a plea to his followers and admirers to come together in support of him throughout the awards voting process so that he could fulfil his ambition of taking home the coveted title.

“I will beg everyone to cast a large number of votes for us when the polls close because, with your help and our strength, we can realise our dream,” he said.
