Grammy-recognised producer Guilty Beatz yearns to work with Lasmid, Olivetheboy

Ronald Banful, aka Guilty Beatz, has mentioned two musicians from his native nation that he is eager to collaborate with.

Afi from the Stay by Plan podcast spoke with him.

 

“I would like to collaborate with Ghanaian artists like Lasmid and Olivetheboy,” he declared.

 

“These boys, yeah, I see something,” he said without offering any further details.

 

“Shatta Wale is the only person I have not worked with,” he said as of yet.

 

The record producer stated that he is keen to work with Victoria Monet on an international scale.

He clarified his criteria, saying, “For me, it is all about the music. The type of music [the artist] creates is what matters. “Bro, we need to work,” is how I feel if I love it that much.”

 

Internationally, Guilty Beatz contributed to Beyoncé’s albums Renaissance, which won a Grammy, and The Gift: The Lion King, for which she was nominated. He is Tems, the Grammy-winning Nigerian musician, preferred music producer.

 

He has collaborated with Mr. Eazi, Pappy Kojo, Sarkodie, King Promise, Efya, M.anifest, and other artists in Ghana.

 

As for Olivetheboy, his most recent hit is “Asylum,” while Lasmid’s is “Puul.”
