Gospel Music Legend KODA to Be Laid to Rest on September 20, 2024

On Friday, September 20, 2024, gospel music icon Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, also referred to as KODA, will be buried.

The funeral service will take place at the KICC Dominion Centre, which is situated in Accra on Spintex Road close to the Coca-Cola Roundabout.

In Ghana’s gospel music scene, KODA, who departed on Sunday, April 24, 2024, left behind a rich legacy. Many were impacted by his distinctive musical style, which fused lively rhythms with profound spirituality.

 

Some of his well-known songs are “Aseda,” “Made a Way,” “Nsem Pii,” and “Hosanna.” These songs are still hymns in many Ghanaian churches because they are so full of sincere praise and worship.

At the celebration of his life, family and friends are invited to wear all-white, which is a symbol of his spiritual journey and peaceful rest in Christ.

 

 

The impact of KODA lives on even after death. His songs have left a lasting legacy that will be felt for years to come, inspiring worship and strengthening many people’s faith.
