It was his hope that people would be revitalized by music and feel a fresh sense of hope that inspired him to plan an event with a gospel music lineup.
Ampaw stated at a press conference held in Accra on August 14, 2024, “It is more than just a global gospel concert series. In an effort to use the healing power of music, we have brought the gospel world tour to Accra.”
He went on, “We think gospel music has a special power to heal, unite people, and spread messages of love and hope.”
The ICGC Christ Temple East in Accra is the venue for the event, which is set for Sunday, August 18, 2024.
