‘Ghana is soft work now, conquer the world’ – Blakk Cedi hails Stonebwoy

Stonebwoy’s former manager, Blakk Cedi, has congratulated the dancehall artist on winning the coveted “Artist of the Year” title at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

Blakk Cedi compared Stonebwoy to legendary reggae artist Bob Marley in his congrats letter, praising Stonebwoy for his unwavering dedication, impeccable work ethic, and intense passion.

Blakk Cedi also took a moment to acknowledge the unwavering support of Dr. Louisa Satekla, Stonebwoy’s spouse, as well as the team effort.

“The legendary Livingstone Etse Satekla deserves hearty congratulations. An even more well-deserved award. A special thank you goes out to Dr. Louisa Satekla for being an amazing support system for her husband.

“Once more, a hearty congrats to each and every team member who helps to keep this wheel turning. It never surprised me, personally. The drive, enthusiasm, and work ethic of our very own Bob Marley are simply unmatched (yet to see his type). He challenges everyone in his vicinity to give their all and keeps them on their toes,” he said.

Blakk Cedi proceeded to articulate his hopes for Stonebwoy’s upcoming pursuits.

It is a work in progress already, but I pray, hope, and wish you could firm it up on the international front (definitely have a firm belief the big day is coming).” Conquering the world is Ghana’s current “soft work.”

The time has come to provide this man with the maximum support he needs to take on the world; without it, it will be difficult to do so. He said, “And to all Ghanaians, home & abroad (artistes, industry, fans, and all).”

“And lastly, to King Promise, we are all so proud of you and your rise,” Blakk Cedi said in closing remarks to the man who lost out on Artiste of the Year. You give your work your all. It is obvious, and nobody should take it for granted. You earned the top prize for your outstanding work. The moment of truth is drawing near. Starboy, never give up. Keep moving forward.”
