In Hong Kong, close to Kwashieman in the Ablekuma North Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, the entire flat of renowned Ghanaian musician Kwadwo Antwi was completely destroyed by fire.

Firefighters can be seen laboriously putting out the fire in a video that blogger Nkonkonsa shared on Instagram. In addition, properties valued at thousands of Ghana cedis were destroyed, including the musicians’ studios.

Regretfully, the studio contained recently acquired, state-of-the-art equipment. Before the GNFS arrived, neighbours saw that the apartment’s occupants, who managed to escape unharmed, had called attention to them. As a result, they hurried to the scene and stopped the fire from spreading to other nearby houses.
