Fadda Dickson rejected my return to Despite Media because of disloyalty – Andy Dosty

Andy Dosty, a radio show host who left Despite Media to work for Angel FM for five years, has revealed that his return to the media conglomerate owned by business magnate Dr. Osei Kwame Despite was rejected.

Andy Dosty revealed on the latest episode of The Delay Show, which aired on Saturday, September 9, 2023, that while the company’s owner initially accepted the idea of his return, the final decision was in the hands of Managing Director Fadda Dickson.

“I wanted to go back to Despite, but they said no… “Their policy is that once you leave, you can never return,” Andy Dosty explained.

“In fact, I went there to apologise,” he went on. Mr. Despite greeted me warmly at an event and invited me to return whenever I was available. However, the situation had changed by the time I arrived. “I remember Fadda Dickson telling me, ‘You are good, and we need someone like you, but you were not loyal,'” he recalled.

According to Andy Dosty, this experience taught him a valuable lesson in loyalty.

“My thoughts were childish because, at the time I was leaving, Mr. Despite had plans to offer me double the compensation I was receiving from Dr Kwaku Oteng of Angel Group of Companies.” Despite trying his best to retain me,” Andy Dosty reflected.

“The sad part is, I was the closest to him of all the employees working with Despite,” he added, expressing regret for betraying the Despite Media Group’s owner.
