He added that the fact that their friendship predates his success in the music business has only made them closer.
The “Terminator” hitmaker said he would be foolish to break up with Efia Odo because of the public’s opinion, but he was grateful for her important support throughout his musical career.
King Promise made it clear that their friendship cannot be severed because some people do not agree with his friend’s personality.
When King Promise was questioned about his relationship with Efia Odo during an interview with YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon, some speculated that they were romantically linked.
He calmly said, “I do not know,” in response to the question of why people were having problems in their relationships. I have asked around, but none of my friends can really explain why they do not get along with her. I value her individuality, so perhaps that explains why, but they do not seem to.”

“Efia and I were friends for almost eight years, even before I became well-known, and she has always encouraged me in all that I do. Therefore, why should I give up on my friend because you do not like her? Is that logical? It does not make sense, for sure.”
Following advice from internet users that King Promise should keep his distance from Efia Odo because of her public persona, a statement was made.
The pressure mounted following King Promise’s 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) defeat to Stonebwoy for Artiste of the Year.
