Enoch Teye Mensah (ET), a veteran politician and former Member of Parliament from Ningo Prampram, passed away at the age of 77.
He died on Sunday night in South Africa, where he was receiving medical treatment.

E.T. Mensah was a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and held several positions, including mayor of Accra, minister of youth and sports, minister of education, and councillor of state for the Greater Accra Region.
E.T. Mensah was elected to the Second Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana in the 1996 General Election. He was the Ningo Prampram MP until 2016 when he was defeated in the NDC’s parliamentary primary by Samuel Nartey George.
