Do not let politics destroy you; you are an evangelist,” Diana Asamoah advised

Gospel musician Diana Asamoah, a woman of God and an evangelist, has been advised by Ghanaian actor Kwaku Manu to use caution when making public pronouncements and actions.

Diana Asamoah, he said, has seemed to be speaking out more about politics lately, instead of focusing on her music and ministry and writing songs that will improve people’s lives.

Because political issues and unwarranted criticism tarnish Diana Asamoah’s reputation as an evangelist, Kwaku Manu counselled her to avoid them.

It is your responsibility as a gospel musician to sing songs that encourage and lead people to Christ. I am here to remind you that you are not walking the genuine path of a sincere follower of Christ. You have become more fixated on politics than on the hand of God, who has guided you this far.

“You are known for singing gospel songs and not political ones, so focus on that. Some of your utterances on issues do not speak well of you; you seem to be influenced by politics, which could harm your reputation,” he said.

Diana Asamoah is known for speaking out against policies and other issues that affect the nation’s well-known politicians.

It is known that she is a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which is currently in power.
defending President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s positions on the status of the Ghanaian economy on multiple occasions.
