Don Little claims that at first, Dr. Likee—then known as Ras Nene—was not taken seriously and experienced prejudice in the industry.
Don Little emphasized how he and another actor, Nana Yeboah, were well-known personalities on the “Ghana We Dey” channel in the early days of Ghanaian YouTube content creation.
Discussions and photo shoots were postponed when Dr. Likee first joined the team because some people were reluctant to work with him.
“There was Sadat, a woman, and a director by the name of 925. Another person ran the Ghana We Dey YouTube channel. We were the main creators on that channel, Nana Yeboah and myself.
“We were there when Dr. Likee was brought on board. I can not recall who specifically turned him on. But there was trouble as soon as he joined the team. He said in a video posted by EdHud on X that “people felt that Dr. Likee was not funny and all that, so they would not shoot with him and all that.”

Nana Yeboah played a crucial role in supporting Dr. Likee, even offering to split his pay to keep Dr. Likee on board.
Nana Yeboah was the one who spoke up and said, “All right, then, let him remain on board. I will split my pay and give him the other half.”
This gesture helped Dr. Likee bond more with Nana Yeboah, prompting Don Little to step back from the channel to allow the duo to work together more effectively.
“Sadat even called me, thinking I had left out of spite, but I explained to them that Dr. Likee and Nana Yeboah made a better pairing, so they should use him,” he explained.
