Diana Antwi Hamilton Wins The Ultimate Again At The Ghana National Gospel Music Awards

The fifth edition of the Ghana National Gospel Music Awards  went down at the Accra International Conference center on Saturday, August 28, 2022.

Diana Antwi Hamilton, who won the coveted Gospel Artist of the Year Award at the fourth edition, has won the ultimate Artiste of the Year for the Ghanaian National Gospel Music Awards.  She also won the Praise song Of The Year and Female Artiste Of The Year.    

The ‘I Believe’ hit maker topped this year’s nominations with eight alongside MOG Music and Akesse Brempong. They are followed by Empress Gifty and Celestine Donkor with seven nods each.

This year’s event took time to acknowledge instrumental pace setters in the Gospel Fraternity. Choreographers Matilda and Matilda  received, Elder Samuel Kofi Ampah received the lifetime achievement awards for owning over 70%  of the original songs sang in the Pentecost, Methodist, Assemblies Of God Church Apostolic Of Ghana and other churches . The event was laced with  soulful, energetic and anointed performances from Scott Evans, Piesie Esther, Bethel Revival Choir  and Celestine Donkor.

Now in its fifth year, the awards scheme, established by Global Expert Recovery, celebrated and honored the outstanding works of Ghanaian gospel acts in the country and diaspora.

2.Producer of the year –  Dan Bassey( The Glory Obaapa Christy)

3.Male Vocalist Of The Year – Perez Muzik (Hewale Lala)

4.Female Vocalist Of The Year – Celestine Donkor ( Only You)

5.Songwriter Of The Year – Kwame Guedu

6.Video Of The Year –  Empress Gifty( Ey3 Woa by Sky Web)

7. Artiste Manager Of The Year David ( Bethel Revival  Choir)

8. Worship Song Of The Year – Peppy (Ofata Ayeyi)

9. Traditional Song Of The Year – Bethel Revival Choir

10. Best Choral Group Of The Year – The Harmonious Choral

11.Church Choir Of The Year – Potters City Choir

12. Urban Song Of The Year – Scott Evans

13. Adventist Artiste Of The Year – Alex Acheampong

14. Gospel Uncovered Artiste Of The Year – Rosemond Agyei

15. Gospel New Artiste Of The Year – Adom Kiki

16. Collaboration Of The Year – Prophet Joseph Atara ft Piesie Esher (Wuy3 Odo)
