Prominent Ghanaian entrepreneur and New Force founder Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly referred to as Cheddar, has declared himself the answer to Ghana’s economic problems.
On Monday, March 18, 2024, during a candid interview with Kwadwo Jantuah on Nhyira FM’s “Kuro Yi Mu Nsem,” Cheddar expressed dissatisfaction with the way Ghana’s economy has been handled over time.

He regretted the nation’s dependence on outside assistance, contending that effective use of its natural resources may have avoided the need for it.
“All the projects and industrialization I have in my empire came from the resources I mobilised in this country, even though I made half a million outside of Ghana,” he said.
The business tycoon went on to say that, despite the criminal reputation some people have given him, he worked hard to earn his wealth and is currently running to become the next president of Ghana.

“People who believe that drugs and other vices are the source of my wealth are not to be blamed. It is a common belief in our region of the world that hard work is insufficient without politics and drugs.
This is the reason we must have an epiphany and realise that black men are equally capable. I am sure that eventually people will see me for who I really am,” he said.
Next, Cheddar gave an overview of his initiatives to raise Ghanaians’ standard of living and stimulate the country’s economy.
With his ability to raise the necessary funds for the economy, the independent presidential candidate hopes to eliminate the need for bailouts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
“If I can find a way for Ghana to gain $10 billion to $30 billion within four years, then I am the new IMF for Ghana,” he declared.
