Blakk Rasta claims Chef Faila’s cook-a-thon attempt is a ‘suicide mission’

Regarding Chef Faila’s continuous attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon, media personality Blakk Rasta has expressed concerns.

Regarding the possible health risks connected to Chef Faila’s cook-a-thon, Blakk Rasta voiced concerns. He vehemently disagreed with the notion that people should deny themselves enough sleep for an extended period, calling it a “suicide mission.” He used the occasion to warn against the growing popularity of different kinds of marathons across the country, such as kiss-a-thons, stand-a-thons, and sex-a-thons.

Blakk Rasta stressed the importance of putting one’s well-being first in a video that Happyhome TV posted on their YouTube channel. He made it clear that he could not support such endeavours and emphasised the risk associated with going more than three days without sleep. He thanked everyone for their efforts but hoped they would think twice about the possible long-term effects on their health.

“They want to have a sex-a-thon in Ghana. A stand-a-thon is what some people wish to do. They spend five hours in this posture. Not a single win for five hours. Some simply want to kiss; they want to participate in a kiss-a-thon. That was a picture of Chef Faila in Tamale going about her business. Once more, even though we adore and value them, I will not support a suicide mission.

And I consider it a suicide mission to go without sleep for longer than three days. I am not going to endorse that. About you, I am not sure. You refer to it as pushing the envelope, but I see it as a suicide mission. We pray that they escape with their lives and that they come away with knowledge that will benefit the entire country,” he said.

Held at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale, Chef Faila’s cook-a-thon has already exceeded the 200-hour mark and is expected to last a total of 240 hours.
