American singer Beyonce has released an official trailer for her upcoming film dubbed “Black is King”. The movie features multiple award winning Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
The film which will premiere internationally on July 31,2020 was inspired by her soundtrack for Disney’s reboot of her album “The Lion King”.
According to Beyonce “Black Is King” is a visual of her “The lion King: The Gift” album. Shatta Wale was featured on her “Already” song which is a single on the album. Beyonce also collaborated with other top African artistes such as Wizkid, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade and Mr Eazi.
