Being younger than someone is not a flex- Mr Drew calls Kuami Eugene a liar as he responds to his comments
The “Case” hitmaker Mr. Drew has answered Kuami Eugene’s remarks about why he pursued legal action against him regarding their royalties dispute.
Speaking about not getting royalties from the musical duo Keche on their song “No Dulling” on the Day Show with Berla Mundi, Kuami Eugene disclosed that he pursued Mr. Drew for his fair share of royalties on “Case” since the latter is a senior in the game and has the ability to “bully” him.
Since he was in the game before Mr. Drew arrived, he claims he involved attorneys in his legal dispute with Mr. Drew.
Even though Mr. Drew is older than I am, I preceded him so that I could abuse him. We get along with Mr. Drew like a next-door neighbour. Even after all of that, he called and gave me half of my royalties,” the man said.
But in response to Kuami Eugene’s remarks, Mr. Drew said in a post on X (Twitter) that being younger in the industry is nothing to be proud of and called Kuami Eugene a liar.
“Apart from the fact that he lies, who gave him the impression that being younger than someone is a compliment? Jon boy,” Mr. Drew wrote.
Aside from the fact that he’s a liar , who made him think being younger than someone is a flex ? Jon boy 😂
