Alan Kyerematen resigns from NPP, announces Independent Presidential bid for 2024
Alan Kyerematen has formally resigned from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in order to run as an independent candidate in Ghana’s 2024 presidential elections.
Kyerematen, a seasoned politician and former NPP member, plans to offer voters an alternative option while emphasising his vision for the country.

“I wish to use this platform to announce that I am honourably resigning with immediate effect from the New Patriotic Party to run as an independent presidential candidate for the high office of President of the Republic of Ghana in the 2024 general elections,” he wrote.
