Acting Has Been Beneficial to Me; I Continue to Make Money by God’s Grace – Salinko

Kumawood actor Abraham Kofi Davis, popularly known as Salinko, has shared insights into the transformative impact of his acting career, revealing how it has shaped his life and benefited his family and society.

Speaking on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo midmorning show with Nana Romeo on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, Salinko highlighted the opportunities acting brought his way, including significant investments in real estate.

“I made money by God’s grace from movies,” he said, adding, “Movies were beneficial to me. I made a certain amount of money from them. But beyond the money, I became a brand ambassador for several businesses. I do this till now – adverts, billboards, etc. So movies helped me.”

The actor further revealed that he charged premium rates for his services, ensuring his work had a wide reach and lasting impact.

Salinko disclosed that acting enabled him to acquire three plots of land in prime areas of Kumasi, including one close to the Santasi roundabout. “Life is not a competition, but when you observe the progress of others, it gingers you to work hard,” he reflected.

He shared plans for the land, noting one will be developed into a hospital, while another is intended for his siblings but registered in his late mother’s name to avoid disputes.

Salinko also recounted his achievements in Accra, where his TV show on UTV opened doors for further breakthroughs, including the acquisition of land for a production factory.

“I’ve shared this not to boast but to inspire others,” he emphasized, highlighting the value of diligence and seizing opportunities.
