The well-known Ghanaian actor Akwasi Boadi, better known by his stage name Akrobeto, recently talked about how his wife’s slap finally caused them to get divorced.
The famous actor stated that their regrettable divorce was brought on by the slap, claiming it was so strong it caused him to trip. They had been married for over ten years. He went on to say that the comedic actor had gone to both families to request the dissolution of the marriage in order to prevent the worst-case scenario in the future.

Akrobeto claims that experience is the source of his fear of getting married again.
“I married my wife in 2006. I did not divorce my wife until recently, when she slapped me and I fell. I am afraid of marriage now,” Akrobeto hilariously recounted on Accra-based UTV.
At the time, Akrobeto was celebrating the 20th wedding anniversary of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife, Samira.
He was shocked by how far they had come, though, as he assumed Bawumia and his spouse had been married for roughly ten years.
“Bawumia, the vice president, and his wife have been married for 20 years. Oh wow, they have done very well. You see, they are not old but have married nicely, which is good. So, do you think Bawumia does not hurt his wife? Do you think Samira does not offend her husband?
“We all make mistakes, but please, marriage is all about understanding. I thought it was 10 years since they got married,” he stated.
