A PRODUCER ONCE TOLD ME TO SELL SECOND HAND SLIPPERS AT KANTAMANTO – OFFICER SAMMY YOUNG
Award-winning gospel artiste Officer Sammy Young has opened up about a producer rejecting him after approaching him with his songs.
Speaking to Fiifi Prat on Kingdom FM, he said the producer asked him to bring his songs to him so that he could listen to them, and they proceed.
“He asked me to bring the songs for him to listen to, and he told me to come the next day. I went the next day only for him to tell me I should stop music and sell slippers at Kantamanto Market.”
“I felt so bad when I heard what he said. The producer told me he has invested in many artiste and has run into losses.” He stated.
Despite that, he never decided to give up because he knew he would make it one day. After all, it was the work of God.
He also recounted how he went to sing at a renowned pastor’s church, and the pastor jumped the wall and went away without paying him.
Moreover, he also narrated how musicians and pastors influenced him to use ungodly spirit to make it into the fraternity, but he refused.
The officer then encouraged the youth to believe in what they do and shouldn’t rush in life and advised most celebrities to stop living fake lives
