She claims that live performances by gospel musicians are more thrilling than those by secular performers.

Perpetual Didier, who achieved fame with the song “Yesu Nkoaa,” cited the recent Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) as proof, pointing out that gospel performers like Nacee performed better than secular acts like King Promise and Kuami Eugene. This information was reported by graphic.com.gh.

“The reason I am mentioning the Ghana Music Awards is that, as far as we all know, it is the largest event that unites all the major players in the music business and offers a common stage for performances by both secular and gospel musicians.

“We have all seen over the years how gospel musicians consistently outperform their secular counterparts when it comes to live performances,” the speaker stated.

She attributed the circumstances to the church’s strict training and mentoring programmes for gospel performers’ polished stage appearances.

According to her, “live performances are everything for gospel musicians. We perform with live bands, which adds a dynamic energy to our supercharged sessions that is hard to replicate.”
