With just weeks to go until the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards, KiDi is making it clear—he wants hit song ‘Lomo Lomo’ to sweep every category it’s been nominated in.
The hit single, which features Black Sherif, has earned four major nominations: Best Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste(s), Best Afrobeats Song, Collaboration of the Year, and the coveted Telecel Most Popular Song of the Year.
In a tweet that has since gained attention, KiDi wrote, “No song should beat Lomo Lomo in ANY category! But I need you to vote, my loves.” His confidence isn’t without reason—the song has become a fan favorite across the country. Still, the competition is stiff.
