25th TGMAs: Nacee deserves ‘Artiste of the Year’ award – Philipa Baafi

Gospel musician Philipa Baafi is fully supporting her friend Nacee to take home the coveted “Artiste of the Year” trophy at the 2019 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs).

Despite fierce competition from musicians such as Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, and King Promise, Nacee manages to impress Philipa, particularly with his hit song “Aseda,” which has been very popular in the past year.

Nacee is a strong contender for the award, in her opinion, because of his persistent hard work and dedication.

“Now that gospel music has advanced significantly by God’s grace, I am not surprised—people like Diana Hamilton, Piesie Esther, Joe Mettle, and others have made us all proud.”

“Thus, I am not surprised that Nacee, who has been putting in a lot of effort, has earned a worthy spot this year. And I am confident he will succeed in that category; his song is strong and gaining a lot of traction, so I know he will take home the grand prize,” she recently stated in an interview with Graphic Showbiz.

On Saturday, June 1, 2024, the TGMAs will be held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
